Before creating a Push Campaign, you need to build an audience by requesting push permissions from your website visitors. You can do this using two methods: Push Prompts or Cues.
Create a Push Prompt
A Push Prompt is a Re:amaze embeddable designed specifically for building your Push Campaign audience. Push Prompts are recommended over other methods because browsers typically only prompt visitors once for push permissions. Push Prompts allow you to prompt the same visitor multiple times, giving you more opportunities to grow your audience.
Give your Push Prompt a title and message. Language that encourages visitors to subscribe for updates, sales, or announcements tends to perform well. You can also set a Re-Prompt Delay, which determines how long to wait before displaying the prompt again to a visitor who previously dismissed it.
Save your Push Prompt and follow the installation instructions provided to get it live on your website.
Use a Cue to request push permissions
Alternatively, you can use a Re:amaze Cue to request push permissions from visitors. Navigate to Settings > Cues to create a new Cue.
