What is an SPF record?
An SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record is a type of TXT record in your DNS zone file. SPF records help identify which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. Adding an SPF record can help detect and prevent spammers from sending email messages with forged From addresses on your domain.
All emails sent through Re:amaze are signed by Re:amaze and originate from @reamaze.com for best deliverability. By default, you should not have to alter your domain's SPF records for deliverability purposes. Note that if your Re:amaze email channel is SMTP connected, you do not need to add Re:amaze to your SPF record.
However, if you'd like to ensure this even further by adding Re:amaze to your SPF record or because you already have a restrictive SPF record you need to alter, you can add an entry like:
include:_spf.reamaze.com
For example, the following is an example of a valid SPF record:
v=spf1 a mx include:_spf.reamaze.com ?all
For more information about the SPF syntax, please see the documentation on open-spf.org.
