If you use Slack, you’re probably accustomed to managing just about everything related to your team’s digital workflow through it. Google documents, git commits, project management, etc. That’s the beauty of an integrated workflow.

Re:amaze also allows you to map your Re:amaze support agents to your Slack team members so the proper team members get @mentioned when a new message arrives. More signal, less noise — just the right solution for your already overloaded Slack channels.
To get started, follow these simple steps if you’re logged into your Re:amaze account:
Connecting Slack
- To get started, go to Settings > Apps & Integrations and select Slack from the list of apps.
When you’re ready with your Slack credentials, click on the button to connect to Slack.
When prompted, proceed with the authorization process so Slack can gain permissions to content in your Re:amaze account and vice-versa.
Once everything is connected, you’ll be brought back to Re:amaze to finish setting up your channels. Go ahead and enable the brands and channels that you want to connect to a Slack channel.
If you click the Edit button on the right hand side of each channel, you'll also be able to map the Re:amaze channel with the Slack channel you would like to receive the notifications in. If you're looking to connect to a private Slack channel, you'll need to invite the @Reamaze bot to the private channel first. Once the bot is added to the Slack channel, the private channel will appear as an option in the Re:amaze Slack integration settings.
You can select what types of conversation events can send out Slack notifications. For example, you can receive a notification when a customer replies or when a new conversation comes into the inbox.
Also remember to bind your Re:amaze staff members to existing members in your Slack account so notifications go through properly.
