Re:amaze integrates with Google Analytics natively and automatically whenever you have Reamaze.js installed on your website or storefront. This includes the Shoutbox, Lightbox, embedded FAQ, and embedded contact form.
Because Google Analytics supports goal tracking, conversion tracking, user behavior analysis, and segmentation, you can use it alongside Re:amaze to track things like:
- The percentage of users who visit your site and complete a goal such as a purchase or sign-up
- The percentage of users who chat with you and complete a goal
- The percentage of users who see a Re:amaze Cue message and complete a goal
For store owners on Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce, Re:amaze and Google Analytics can be used together to measure whether customer conversations lead to actual sales.

- WooCommerce and Google Analytics Getting Started plus WooCommerce and Google Analytics Guide

Set up goals and segments
Goals are specific actions your users take that represent meaningful outcomes for your business, such as a sign-up, purchase, or account creation.
- In your Google Analytics account, navigate to the Admin settings page.
- Select Goals to create a new goal.

Continue setting up your goal by defining the goal type and conditions that apply to your business.

If you're looking for Shopify goals, see this page.
Once your goals are created, you can set up segments to filter users who have performed specific Re:amaze event actions. Combined with goals, segments allow you to identify subsets of users who have completed those goals.

To create a Re:amaze-based segment, complete the following steps.
- Select the Conditions option within the segment builder.
- Filter for Event Action.
- Select from the list of available Re:amaze event actions.
The event actions available to you will depend on which Re:amaze features you have enabled.

View conversation data
Once your goals and segments are created, you can begin reviewing user conversion metrics.
- From your Google Analytics home screen, select the Conversions tab.
- Select Overview.
- Choose the goal you want to view metrics for.

Select the segment you want to analyze. In this example, we are looking at users who started a chat conversation and then completed a purchase.

Select Apply and wait for the dashboard to update.

The data will show you how many users completed your selected goal within the context of the segment you applied. For example, the sample data above shows that 4 users completed a purchase after having started a chat conversation.
