Re:amaze allows you to save specific filtered inbox channels. Saving a filtered channel will pin it to the top of your inbox view so that you can easily manage and respond to conversations that are meant for you or your department. Saved filters will appear pinned under the "Important" filter in the inbox dashboard. Some great use cases for saved filters include:
- Saving a filter for all unassigned conversations within a specific channel.
- Saving a filter for all resolved conversations with a specific tag.
- Saving a filter for all unresolved conversations belonging to a department.
- Saving a custom view for specific search criteria that you commonly use.
Important Things To Note:
- The “Me”, “Awaiting”, and “All Unresolved” filters cannot be saved (because they’re already saved).
- All channel filters and their sub-filters can be saved and pinned.
- Search filters (views) and advanced search filters can be saved and pinned.
- All saved and starred filters/views can be renamed.
Saving Filters
To star or save a filter, simply select an existing filter, specific channel filter, or a tag filter. In the example below, conversations are filtered by the "Sales" tag. To save this filter and pin it to the top of your Inbox Dashboard, click the star icon located at the top of the page.
Once you have clicked on the star icon, you will be prompted to name this filter. Click "Update" when you're done.
This filter will now be pinned to the top of your dashboard under the "Important" category at the top of your inbox options. Going forward, all conversations with the "Sales" tag will be easily accessed from the "Sales Conversations" filter that has been saved and pinned to the top of the Dashboard.
Saving keyword and advanced searches
In addition to saving existing channel or tag filters, you can also use a basic or advanced search of your conversations and save it as a filter. To do an advanced search, click on the filter icon on the right side of the search bar.
A dropdown will appear, giving you the ability to filter your search by Message Type, Status, Channel, etc.
Click "Search" and you will be able to save this filter the same way, by clicking on the star icon located at the top of the page.
