Re:amaze offers you the ability to help customers with even more precision and efficiency. “Peek” is a feature available to Plus Plan users and can be accessed through either the Live Dashboard or within the Live View module within conversations.
Clicking on “Peek” will give you instant access to co-browse the customer’s screen so you can see where they are on your website, storefront, or web app.
The ability to see what customers are seeing allows you to address frustrations and pain points with accuracy and can quickly turn frustrated customers into happy customers. In the screenshot below, you can see that this visitor is reviewing shipping policies and may have some questions about when their order will ship.
Peek can also be used to facilitate sales conversations as agents are able to guide customers along and help communicate exactly what to click on next. No more “so what are you seeing now?” or “have you clicked on the green button yet?”.
It’s important to note that Peek for Re:amaze Live is only active for customers who are currently on your website, storefront, or app where the Re:amaze JavaScript is installed. Once customers leave your website, Peek will be deactivated for security reasons.
Troubleshooting
Some content isn't being displayed
Certain content such as framed contents are blocked in Peek. Peek should provide you with a close representation of what the user sees, but some aspects like animations on your site might not be shown via Peek.
Peek isn't working
Peek works on all modern browsers and devices. If the user is on an older browser that does not support Peek, you will not be able to see their screen. Peek also depends on the user's connectivity. Peek is still in beta, so feel free to contact us if Peek isn't working and we'd be happy to take a look at the issue.
